A little background:

Once a night owl having spent over 15 years as a musician and in sound engineering, I traded late nights for early mornings and took up photography in 2003, not by choice but by circumstances, after I was made redundant by my employer. Before I set foot in the music & audio industry, I took up all sorts of jobs from auto parts delivery boy to construction site worker, from supermarket helper to van driver and many more which you don’t want to know!

What I do for my career:

Passionate and dedicated photographer - travel the world capturing wonderful destinations, amazing hotels and beautiful interior designs for domestic & international brands. Very easy to work with, a team player, go the extra mile, a good listener, willing to work with budget constrained & tight deadlines.

What I'm really good at:

Having experienced different format and platform of photography for the past 17 years, I have the ability to consistently deliver my work to the highest standards, meeting the demands of brand owners, creative directors and photo editors in different industries. I pride myself for having the ability to wear different hats to do my job, from controlling and artistically styling the sets, to art directing talents and models and to capture pure candid moments and storytelling with compelling images. Teaching photography is another passion and strength of mine as over 25k participants have benefited from my trainings since 2006.

What I do for leisure:

Trying to wrestle the phones from my boys, accompany my wife for shopping, belly scrubbing my shih tzu and doing at least four 7-10k run every week. Exploring wine, single malt and nihonshu with my buddies.

Achievements:

Winning the Travel Photographer of The Year Award, Eyes on Asia Award and several other accolades in various photography competitions. Being one of the judges for National Geographic Channel photo competition and leading the winners to a bootcamp in Bali. Deliver photoshoot successfully and meeting brands marketing direction in above the line marketing and social media campaign. Featured by Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Turkish Airlines and National Geographic. Contributor for Stocksy United and Ambassador Pro with PIXERF.
